Squad Timing is a practical tool designed to assist coaches, parents, and athletes in efficiently timing and recording track and field meet performances for both individuals and teams.

By simply tapping the "plus" icon to take splits for each event, users can select the athlete from a pre-established roster, facilitating easy recording of the athlete's name, place, time, and additional comments directly within the app. Subsequently, users have the option to save the comprehensive data in a spreadsheet format on their device, share it via email, or review it within the app through its spreadsheet or graphing functionalities.

The concept behind this application arose from firsthand experience coaching more than 100 athletes per season over several years. The efficiency of Squad Timing becomes evident in its capacity to streamline the timekeeping process at track meets. With this app on an iPhone or iPad, a single individual can accurately document event times for every team member, eliminating the need for multiple coaches at the finish line manually recording results. This not only ensures precision but also expedites the data-saving process post-event. Users can effortlessly preserve meet results by storing the spreadsheet in their device's files or sharing it via email, eliminating the need for time-consuming manual result recording.
